
Reaching Out to Aboriginal Youth
For the last two years, Red River College has held H.A.W.K. (Hands-on Activity Week For Kids) a weeklong summer camp for Aboriginal youth aged 11 to 13. Offered at no charge to 16 participants, the camp blends cultural programming, recreation time and teambuilding exercises with hands-on activities and games that introduce skilled trades- and technology-related programs.

Mentoring Young Athletes
Our Rebels athletes continue to step up their game - racking up a string of championship wins, debuting strongly on the soccer pitch, and most importantly, providing mentorship training to young athletes throughout the province. For the second year in a row, RRC volleyball players hosted the Rebels Boys and Girls Classics: combined tournaments and skills camps for junior high athletes that foster development at the grassroots level while strengthening our teams' ties to the community.
